How to Format/DualBoot + Downloads

Post by ZXasCreator »

Importants:
-If You're Going to Dual-boot Make sure you have at least two partitions (C & D) and that the other ONE is empty because it will be formatted along the way.
-STEPS MIGHT SLIGHTLY DIFFER DEPENDING ON YOUR OS TO BE INSTALLED
-Using Rufus will format your USB!!..

***READ CAREFULLY EVERY STEP IS CRITICAL***
I'm not responsible if you accidentally ruin your system by not following correctly.

========================================================

First what You'll need is:
****All Links to OS and others are at the Bottom****
1. A Desktop or Laptop with a working USB port, of course.
2. Operating System (OS)
3. A USB of 4Gb at least. but 4gb's usually has a 3.6gb usable so an 8gb would be best.
(should be big enough to store your OS)
4. Rufus 2.X

========================================================

Now Let's Start

1. Plug in your USB.
2. Open Rufus.
Then on the drop down menu's select the following:
2.1 Select your USB.
2.2 MBR Partition scheme for BIOS or UEFI
2.3 Select NTFS as the File System.
2.4 Default Cluster Size.
2.5 Type any for the volume label.
Check the Following on the check boxes:
*Quick Format.
*Create a Bootable disk using ISO.
*Create extended label and icon files
3. Select the ISO you've downloaded by clicking the disk image beside "ISO Image" on Format Options.
(If its compressed into a .zip, .rar, or .7z. Extract it first)
4. Click Start and wait for it to finish.
5. Congratulations! you've just made your first bootable USB.
6. Now Shutdown your Computer :) then turn it on.
7. Then boot into your USB. before it starts it should say something like
"Press F12 to Choose Boot Device" and of course we'll press it.
(Refer here if it's different for you: [Please login or register to view this link]).
8. Select your Bootable USB.
9. Now it should be Starting the Windows Setup. just follow the steps and the installation will begin.
For Format: You can clean your drive C, there will be a format option before you select which drive the OS will be installed. otherwise the old files in C will be stored in "windows.old" folder in drive C.
For Dual-boot: If You're Going to Dual-boot Select Drive D: as the drive for OS installation or it Might be any letter but just don't select C:
***if selected drive is C: your OS will be Replaced***
(your PC might restart a few times while installing).
10. After that you'll need to fill in some thing's
(Pc name, password, username, etc.)
11. You'll need to install drivers for hardwares and programs to work properly using certain Applications to download.
Option A. Driver pack solution 15 (10gb)(No Internet connection Required)
Option B. Search on Google; Driver Installer (**I'll Find a program later**)
Option C. Manually Install drivers (Google it :) its a long and troublesome step~)
12. Install Anti-Virus, Microsoft Visual C++, DirectX, .NET Framework..
Install Apps (Office, Chrome, Games, Etc.)
13. It's done :)
